The Full Story

I truly consider myself a lifelong learner and being in education encourages me to inspire others to do the same. I came into education as a second career after the sudden passing of my father in 2003. My undergraduate degree in Biology has been put by the wayside as I worked along my father developing a beautiful dinner theater and working as a producer in the DFW metro-plex. I had been next to my father my whole life in entertainment and wanted to build the dinner theater of his dreams with him after I graduated from college. Unexpectedly, my father turned ill and I began to question what my true calling was. I loved science and wanted terribly to use my education as I established a career of my own. I chose teaching as a way to share my knowledge and work with children and to inspire them to love learning as much as I did. I continued my education and received my Masters in Educational Administration in 2007 with the desire to lead as a school administrator.

I married the man of my dreams in 2011 as well and since then we have been blessed with three beautiful children whom are truly our lives. Emma is nine, Jackson is seven and Noah is five years old . We love spending time together. Emma is a busy competitive gymnast and spends a lot of her time at her gym. Both Noah and Jackson play soccer and my husband is the coach for Jackson's team. Jackson also has found a passion for basketball and has begun playing for a local team. All the kids have a passion for learning and it is amazing to study and read together every night. My husband works in home building and is an amazing supporter of my career. He has consistently supported every decision and wholeheartedly supported my desire to receive my PhD in Educational Leadership, which I obtained in May 2018. We live in Gainesville, Texas and together have fulfilled our dream of living on the lake. We love the area and continue to make Gainesville, Texas our home.
